A fair warning about this camber kit

So my gf decided to buy this camber kit for her EF Hatch without telling me. When it came in and she showed me I was half sleep and at a quick glance thought they were skunk2 and rolled back over and went to bed. Today (2 months later) I decided to install them. When I pulled them out of the box the first thing I said to myself was these arent skunk2. After I finished looking them over I decided to install them anyway. The first thing I noticed when comparing them to the stock upper control arm was that the cheaply stamped frame had a lip that hung over on each side much farther than the stock unit. Next, it had the shittiest ball joint I had ever seen. So after grinding down the lip on each side to clear the shock tower I go them in. With the ball joints adjusted out all the way out the wheels no longer leaned in, I was feeling pretty good and trying to forget about the shitty design. I also installed a new set of tokicko blues at the same time, so I decided to take the car for a spin to see how it rode with the new struts. So I get out on the road (which is pretty smooth in front of my shop) and everything was fine. When I get down the road a little bit (to the bumpy section), there was a horrible knocking that was coming from the front end. The first thing I thought was that the little allen key bolts that keep the ball joints in place had loosened up, so I turned around and headed back to the shop. Ounce I got the car back up on the lift I saw the problem even before I pulled the wheels off.... The control arms are too long and stick out so far that they hit the frame rail whenever you go over a bump...
Well first off I wish the gf would've asked me to take a look at the auction before she bought it, but its a lil late for that. I'm suprised someone could put ---- out on the market like this without testing first. But theres EGAY for you. If anyone was even remotely interested in this kit, I highly advise against it. I'd say either spend another $100 and get the skunk2 unit, or get one of the kits that simply replace the ball joint itself and reuses the upper control arm (thats what she'll be getting).
So now I'll be pulling her front end back apart again in the morning to put the stock upper control arms back on again .

Sounds like a possibility. My friend has a set on both his DA and his CRX, no problems with either car.
I have a set for my EH, but they haven't made it on the car yet, hope they work.

Curious how yours turn out boosted. I wouldn't mind a cheap camber kit for the rex, but I sure as ---- don't want it falling apart either.
Suspension that stays together while driving 70mph is mildly important to me.

I've been over 135mph with those control arms. My ingles kit slipped on my twice so i decided to try those out..
Having to trim for camber kits on an EF is well known.
I too also had to grind down the lip to get them to fit.

I have the pivot mounts with stock control arms on the front of my CRX and the pinch weld had to be trimmed as well.
