Yes, I am positive that I've used it. I do it when I know I'm gonna fail. Denatured is basically ethyl alcohol and as long as one gallon is diluted with a full tank of gas there will be no harm to your engine. I'm sure you know, but ethanol is what dragsters run on. I wouldn't suggest it if its gonna hurt someones car.

Stuff some steel wool in your exhaust and pay a shop $10 to write you a reciept that they did "something". I don't know.

If your high on hydrocarbons you want to advance your timing. I had the same problem so I had to take my car to "Top Notch Auto" its basically 2 guys on Market St. sitting in lawn chairs. Nothing like your local lick em' and stick em'

That is another thing that denatured does. It leans your car out. I'll put money on it that you do it, take it in, and you pass.

You could take it up here to Havasu and register it. The wait at the DMV here is like 5 minutes and NO EMISSIONS! You can renew over the internet or over the phone when it expires so you won't have to come back down.
