It's a poorly crafted and obviously dangerous hack project running an overrated bottom end and an okay cylinder head, and you chimed in that you love it. Did you even read this thread, or the other one? I'd rather try to stuff a GSR into the trunk of that Corolla than a 1JZ.

2JZ swaps are cool, but there's a lot of particular one-off changed halfway through the model year bullshit attached to them and you need a certain combo of parts for certain swaps - those parts are almost guaranteed to NOT come with your swap. Also, Toyota wiring flat out sucks, half the connectors crumble in your hand when you touch them and then it's a special order through the dealership situation where you wait two weeks to pay out the ***.

Try doing, building, tuning a couple 2JZ before you pipe up. After you drop a metric ---- ton of money into JUST getting the engine done up correctly with bare minimum stock parts you do not hold your steering rack in with mild steel straps, you do not weld the rear IRS assembly in such a manner that it is obviously misaligned as well as not securely mounted. An amateur could do this in his garage with simple hand tools and a MIG welder, you just have to think three times, measure twice, cut once... the dude in that thread is a ------- idiot and can't manage to think the first time through much less measure NOT A COOL PROJECT.
