Ive been rocking the xtd clutch with the a6 boosted for over 1 1/2 years, I beat the ---- out of my car daily, Ive ran it down the track on 22" DR and have yet had it slip on me. Best $129 ive spent.

Re: f1 clutches....

i've been running a stage 3 on an integra for about a year now, it works great, i cant remember if it was the F1 or the other brand thats the same product, but pretty sure F1, it was the cheap ebay one ;D

from my experience what i have found is that most of the people who whine about them being shitty, usually dont follow the 500 mile break in period, they get impatient, and think "i'm close enough, the company really means 50 mile break in, they just throw the extra 450 on there for their own safety..." then they cant figure out why the clutch isnt doing its job

i'm not saying if you dont do the break in correctly that your clutch will definately fail prematurely, but your taking a gamble at that point. All i am saying is that if you follow the instructions properly and be patient, then there should be no problems with an F1 clutch, and that a good majority of the complaints about prematurely failing f1 clutches and the like, can be traced back to a lack of the proper break in period

im not trying to be a dick or anything, but if you were to get in your car after you installed it, got on the hwy put it in 5th gear and drove 500 miles it would be broke in? or is it 500 miles of in city bumper to bumper trafic? Kinda a grey area there. All Ive ever done is put in a tank of gas and drive it like a grandma, slipping the clutch when I take off, and lots of upshifting, and a few lite rippers here and there(1st and 2nd gear). But after the tank of gas, I drive it like I stole it. :y
