Let's put the shoe on my foot. If I got a burger at McDonalds and it were too salty, enough to make me sick and I ate it anyways, got sick and then called the cops.....would she have been arrested? Or would the cops have told me to get fucked and don't eat salty burgers? What a bunch of horseshit.

Flawless logic from the doctor. I'd challenge anyone in that city to call the police and report that very thing. Although they'd probably try to automatically get you for false report before investigating the resturant. I think what the cops are saying here is that the girl admitted she made a mistake by pouring the salt. If she would have said "I don't know", technically they couldn't have arrested her for what they did, which is bullshit to begin with. So much for admitting a mistake.
