DO NOT try this on a lap top.. the graphics capabilities of a lap top is 2d and not much more (unless u get a high end geforce go laptop, even then, they still suck).
If you can run Half-life 2 you should be able to run this. (or FarCry).
I pre-ordered (release on Oct 1
it off of the Future Shop website for $49.99CAD. I went to the store that day because I was in there area and the wife was lookin for a cell phone card. Went in and there it was! (This is on Sunday, Oct 16). I asked the guy wtf it was doin here and he said there was no release date given, got a price check, $69.99.. haha idiots.

ok so i downloaded the demo. but when i click on the demo theres a blank screen 
sound works, and i can see the white pointer(mouse) but thats it.
