F*cking chrystler turbo!!
 
well that ------- turbo showed up and its a chrystler. stoped by and showed it to Jeff, he said it will work, but not the "choice application". told him what i paid, and he freaked. paid way to much. so b4 i buy anything else, and waste my money. what should i do? i'll never get the cash back that i paid. so i will use it. but guess its gonna be a bitch. so will the "fAQ" section work for me, cause i could'nt find any "f22" examples. or is it all basically the same? i'm a ------ NOOBIE, so please be patient. PS is there a book at the library i could check out. kinda like the "idiot book on volkswagons" you know big pictures and not alot of print. ::) ::) ::) ::)

make a kit for around 500 and sell it for 900 on ebay.

get that turbo off ebay its well worth it and more than enough for a f22. sell the chry. turbo they work but for a f22 maybe a little small

since the "snail" is so small, that will kill any "top end" that i had. wich was not much anyhow. :P ::)

As far as putting together the kit, the f22 and the d-series are pretty much the same, as far as how things work, the f22 is just a bigger SOHC engine, so anything you see for the d, or pretty much any honda engine, will pretty much work on you.

I guess the turbo is a little small, but it will work, if you want to use it for your first setup it should be ok

Id say go with the chrysler turbo.... then when you up grade turbos you can see what the difference is....

The first turbo I bought was a K03. I didn't know any better and when it arrived I realized just how small it was. So I took very detailed pictures of it (ppl like to see what they are buying!) and posted it on ebay one sunday at 7:00 (the peak time for ebay)

Well, I bought it for about $90 and ended up selling it for $185 :P

I would say clean it up the best you can, take nice clear pictures, and through it up on ebay!!

Go with a 14b at least... I got a TD-05H 14b turbo I plan to run for my F22a6 engine soon.

IM the idiot?? Im not the one who bought the turbo :P I just said that cause Im addicted to boost. I also agree with what racerex said... give it a good Spit shine and see if you can sell it to another sucker for more ;D

Or buy or make an adaptor... I've seen it done.

---- it, gonna go ultra cheap and see what happens. gonna have my stock mani adapted to fit the new flang for the turbo. drop down to a skinny thick radiator. and 450 cc DSM injectors. but do i need to run somesort to "electrical box" to make the injectors work? the exhaust syde of the set up is allready pointed down. so that should be easy to work with. remember, i'm still "cutting my teeth" in the turbo field. keep the pointers commn. much appreciated. ;) :D ;D

few things.
your gonna have a hard time keeping the front engine mount.
the turbo can be rotated however you want it to point.
cant he just get another turbine housing with a normal flange?
i *think* 4th gens were peak and hold. not sure about this. look in your engine bay and look for a resistor box. i know on mine its in the right hand upper corner.

You should just try the Chrysler turbo. You can always upgrade later on, and about that wierd flange. Why don't you just
drill out the regular t3 flang pattern like on the Airtonics Sunfire in the turbo projects section?

Yes, drill out the normal t3 flange in the housing. You will have to grind down in certain spots, but there is plenty of material to work with.
You can swap out the compressor housing out for a normal one as well.

You can swap a normal garrett t3 turbine housing on them. Just do that instead of drill that thing out cause your gonna be messing with that thing for days trying to get it to work. Just find a .48 housing off a saab and swap them. Bolts on perfectly since there both garretts.

I just like to say.... this is why I love HMT! I always thought turboing is for the kids with rich parents only, but when I saw with my eyes the very possiblities of the honda motor holding some boost on stock internals with used or junkyard turbo crap. You guys are an inspiration to my dreams of auto performance... Keep up the good work.

i'm eating up the pointer's like pu**y. thanks for all the help. one problem, i'm now in the middle of a delema, have to finish building this fn house by august, or i'll be homeless. and also found a 1978 chevy short box with about a 6" lift with alcoa wheels raped in 36 10.5 mudders. guy only wants 2500. gonna scratch up 2g's. he should take it. been watchn this truck for bout 6 months. it got the "PUNISHER" emblem on the grill. so the turbo is gonna sit till winter, and then i will tear it down and build it back up. just thinks a truck would be more fun for camping in the summer, and roding in the winter. still have the love for my honda. but i needz a ------ 4x4. chica's digz trucks. been doing a coffee stand pole. hey my first drag race is this friday down a pacific raceways. only $20 to beat the ---- out of my car. could'nt say no. >:D >:D >:D >:D
