F*cking Chargepipe!
damn it. one of my intercooler pipes keeps poping off and i cant figure it out!? i clamped it down with a good clamp and i even threw some adhesive ---- so it wont slide off so easily, but that didnt work either. i was thinking about just welding my chargepipe to my intercooler for now...is that possible since the ic is aluminum? i know i can flare the ends of the ic but i cant find anything to do it/strong enough. any ideas of how to keep that bitch on there!??

Re:F*cking Chargepipe!
I have this one pipe that likes to blow... so probalby this week during my spring break I'm going to take all the charge pipes off... and weld a stitch weld bead around the end of each one. Hopefully that will help out.

Re:F*cking Chargepipe!
i have some jb weld right here. how would you suggest using it? should i try throwing a "lip" around the ic pipe with the jb weld so it will catch onto the lip? for some reason i think its still gonna pop off with jb weld. or maybe there's another way?! i was looking for something that would bond the ic pipe to the rubber coupler so it wont slide off, it would be like glued on there....sound dumb?

Re:F*cking Chargepipe!
put a little bit of spray paint on the end of the pipe and while it's still tacky put the coupler over it. use a t-bar clamp if you can, and torque that son of a bitch down, torque it till you think your giong to break the clamp.
don't weld your ic |
Re:F*cking Chargepipe!
---- if i had my own welder i would've done that when i put the kit on!

Re:F*cking Chargepipe!
