extra fuel injector in charge pipes ???

ive noticed that some people splice the fuel line and run it to a fuel injector in the charge pipe that leads to the intake mani ,whats up with that ? i have a general idea means more fuel richer a/f ratio for turbo but do you need it ? is it better ?

You need to add an injector controler to operate that. Typically they are boost sensitve, and operate similar to a nitrous sprayer.

You can also make your own controler with a little reasearch

u dont really need it. it just throws more fuel. so just get some big injectors and you'll be okay

Re:extra fuel injector in charge pipes ???

I just did this as well but only because I dont have an alternate route for fuel without a stand alone or piggy back system.

Basically it allows me to keep my stock injectors in and great driveability when off boost while adding enough fuel during boost.

Its not the best way to do it but its not bad either...works quite well actuaylly.

I just made a post about it if you havent seen it... has "JDM Rocks the sunfire" in the title...

yeah i saw that, thats were i got the idea but i had seen it in a couple of turbo kits i think in the drag

Yes I think the drag kit makes room for 2 injectors, and comes with a simple control box to power them.

It works similar to a BTM boost timing managment, in that at (x) boost it will operate injector at (y) fuel CC/h

oh yea, a lot of people say "it any worth a ----" and other bullshit like that, puting another injector in a charge pipe and having it come on under boost is no diffrent from a 4-barrel carb, and look at the great power they made ::)
