Exploding radiator.....!!!
Well this weekend i was busy installing a turbo on Hatch... and at 3 am when everything was finally finished... we started it up to check for leaks and adjust the timing,
We'll we left it on for about 20 mins without the fan beeing turned on and as we were putting the bumper back on, and that son of a bitch just exploded, it was like a loud *** cherry bomb, Damn it was scarry seeing how i was laying almost right next to it... ------- antifreeze just shoots out and wets the ---- out of everything... I hurried the ---- up and got the ---- out of there, but it still managed to burn my elbow slightly, and the right side of my head is a bit red from the steam. ANd lets just say that antifreeze is rather sweet.
We;ll the next morning, i went to the junkyard and found a nice newer looking radiator, and scored a pimp *** AUDI intercooler...

iv never seen anything like that before. its a good thing you wernt standing over the engine bay, glade your ok.

damn you sure you didn't hook the charge pipes to the radiator and was boosting that ----! lol. Good thing your ok. Damn I wish antifreeze wasn't deadly cause that ---- sure is sweet. From one shot of it, it looks like it was already has some previous work on the endtank on top from the way it looks at the ends. Either way your fine and it's boosted!

godd thing your alright. atleast u foubd ab audi ibtercooler. things obviously work out in a very odd way for you dont they.
by the way, i was able to pickup a brand new radiator from napa for 80 and it has a lifetime warranty

yea that shiet is hot. I was standing right on top of one when it exploded on me. But luckelly the hood was closed so I only got hit with the shiet that came through the front bumper and front grill. oopsss.......98ctr
