does this sound right............i went to an exh shop the other day n told them i wanted 2.5 from the header,no cat,all the way back(yea its illegal so ill weld on the cat covers around part of the pipe to make it look legal)to my greddy muffler.... he tells me $175 for the piping $75 for the flex pipe(is it needed?,told me i would crack something if i didnt have it) and $20 to weld on my muffler. to me that sounds like 'STICKM UP' but i just wanna know what yall think.89hb.MIA FL

Yes you need the flex pipe. I would buy your own and bring it in because that price is outrageous. Other than that the price seems ok. It's not the greatest price, but at least he supplied the lube.

actually the welder i was using was a shitty one, non gas, wire feed and it was the cheapest one not the $250 one.
just found that out.

even my friend who is a badass welder had trouble running a bead with it without it shutting off.

i need to make friends at a machine shop somewhere.
