IMHO, For FI, 3" is a complete waste of money and space unless you're pushing over 450 hp. It might get you a few hundred rpm quicker spool up but I don't see that as being justification enough.

Obviously, you're talking about NA though. I wouldn't go over 2¼" mandrel. Right now, I'm running 2.5" mandrel midpipe, gutted stock cat and Flowmaster 40 series axleback NA until I get my Turbo on and it's kinda shitty now. It was actually a lot better with a catco high flow cat and stock piping, but once I'm boosting, I'm sure it will be fine.

I was going to get 2.5 inch, but when I ordered it I got 3 inch instead. It was 10 bucks more.

www.kteller.com can take care of all your exhaust needs...

www.darkxtremes.com has a pic of the apex-i n1 muffler and he sells the catbacks.

i have one on my car, you can see the pic.. somewhere on this site, under "my turbod" is part of the title. the pic is crappy but you get the idea.

i couldnt really tell u what muffler/exhaust system to get because ive never personally had one on my crx(i have piping and glasspacks). My friends 5zigen catback exhaust sounds great and is deep. However i can tell you for performance in N/A form your going to lose alot of low end power with a 3" exhaust. When you boost it 2.5 would still be fine for anything around 6 - 10 psi. If you want to go more then that you might keep the 3" in mind.

im running 2 1/4 mandrel bend piping with a tenzo bolt on rear muffler. i could feel a good top end pick up. and it sounds great not to loud. just a perfect tone

heres the bolt on section

im not to sure if you have a crx/civic or not but maybe this helps

Apexi N1 all away.. or an Evolution, the only problem is when you let off the gas it sounds like it's farting.
