go to that evolutionm.net or whatever the site is and ask for a more accurate anwser. We all cant afford an evo so we honestly are just making an edcuated guess. if you have the right fuel management and efficency, you can boost the ---- out of any motor.
in johnnys world...if every car was a mustang it would be everything. the fact is, he had to make his a twin turbo to make it fast and hand with the hondas.

i ran stock as fast as most boosted stock engine honda runs

NO JOHNNY...im sayin your 100% biased on your "V-8" cars. Some mfg's are bringing out some pretty powerful 4cyl and you cant argue that fact. That evo stock would out preform your stock stang in more ways than 1. ----, I think it would run pretty dam close to the cobra your talkin about as well...I would put money on it. Im talkin everything from a solomn to the 1/4.

the cobra is much much faster, and consequently around a road course would also be faster.
my fox is 17 years old. id hope a car that is brand new and costs 3x as much as mine did new would out perform it.
the EVO MR has 276 CRANK hp, 286 CRANK tq. 3200lbs
and the 03 svt cobra has 380hp at the wheels and 380tq at the wheels. 3600lbs
the new 06 GT mustang makes more power, more torque, weighs aprox the same, has all the luxuries the MR doesnt... and costs almost 15k less
