Everyone else is posting their projects...

why not me :P

Pretty much just waiting on a couple parts now for final assembly. Basically heres a run down of what this winters project was:

1.) Remove ac & heat systems including all supporting wiring/components under the dash. Plug the holes.

2.) Upgrade from 14b -> t3 42/48, still using HF manifold.

3.) Replace stock clutch w/6puck unsprung.

4.) Mini-me swap

5.) Upgrade from DSM SMIC -> Tyrus 6" FMIC

6.) EX/Si knuckle upgrade w/11.2" rotors and 94-95 Legend GS twin piston calipers, also putting a 1" MC on and rear discs finally.

7.) other random ---- i forget now

Anyway.. heres where shes at :P

Insert FMIC here:

My garage .. usually my 91 Talon sits next to the red dx, but i had it pulled out for sweepup.

I wish I had a car in the garage to work on. :'(

Looks good. In pic#2, what's going on in that cylinder? Is that just oil or what?

Since you are removing the A/C and heater, does that mean this is a race car only? Are you gutting the interior also? Is that a DX?

Yah those are just the flywheel bolts sitting in #3 until the clutch shows up from 88 Turbo CRX. Pressure plate bolts are sitting in #4 ;)

Not sure I'd call it a 'race' car, but it will be for open track & street terrorism only. The interior was already pretty gutted when I bought the car. Everything from the doors back was missing. The AC didnt work, and the heater core was leaking... so I figured I'd just shitcan it all. I've kept everything though incase I ever wanna go back.

I need to take pictures, but where the radio and AC controls were are now ABS bezels I made holding my EGT, oil press, oil temp, water temp, and boost guages. Looks pretty slick if I do say so myself.

It is a 1995 DX. I daily drive an automatic 1995 EX that has working AC/heat... so thats why this DX and my Talon are lacking all the 'creature comforts'.

I'd like to know what it weighs after you remove all of that. Keep up the good work. :)

Ya stealthmode... I'm originally from Miami, FL and people rag on me all the time for moving to Iowa. HOWEVER, its CHEAP to live here.. I mean I live like a king on 60k/yr... well to me anyway. I don't mind living in the sticks.. I was never much into clubbing and all that business anyway.

I'll re-borrow that camera this weekend and snap some pics of those guages.

I was born in Orlando, but moved to Ca. when I was a little guy. I'm tired of the city ----. My dream is to be an Ozark Mountain Daredevil!

Just living. :)
