That's not that attitude of the majority Mexicans tho. It's usually more acceptable in the big cities, since they're the more "civilized" places.
Being gay is NOT acceptable by anyone. If you're gay, don't tell anyone. A lot of the times, parents will disown their own kids for being gay. I know my dad would beat me or my brothers if we were gay.
Most Mexicans are very conservative when it comes anything to do with female/male roles.
