Truth most people ---- up engine builds. I have when I was younger and I wouldnt do it yourslef. There is alot of money to be spent on proper tools and if you want to build a motor without an engine stand you dont have the money to build a factory rebuild correctly. I know JEFF and alot of guys here make everything look so easy but there mechanics by day and very skilled at what they do hence why the stuff works. I say find alow mileage clean block swap it and go have fun

thanks for the links. i'm not saying i can't afford an engine stand, i'm sayin i'd prolly only use it this once, so why bother buying one. i wasn't planning on building it up or anything, i just want to change the rings, and look for anything that could posibly ---- up after i boost it.
