Think these would be a good starter set of slicks for me? 20/8"/14 4x100?

there is also some 21.5/5.5"/15 forsale too now its a 15" rim but smaller size tire.

Ya there pretty cheap both of these sets. I don't want to spend over 125 for a set of rims and slicks i will use 4-5 times a year. And these have to be better then running on 17"s with crap-omo tires.

Normally a slick with that short of a sidewall are for road racing and not draging. The stiffer sidewall almost make them useless. What kind are they?

After spending money on slick that I thought would work, now I will only buy the right ones. Go for at least a 22.5x8x13 or so. AND only wrinkle walls.

I had some mickey 22*8-15's et drags and they wouldn't hook for crap and that was on my rwd rx-7. Best 60' was a 1.8 on them. Switched to 24.5*8-14's and my 60's dropped to the mid low 1.5's.

Looks like 20x8x14 MT's to me, I loved the three sets I've been thru.

13.09 @ 103 on the spray, 1.81 60 ft launching on the bottle.
