lol you guys must have a crystal ball.

i almost bought a nice 84 vette but it had 170k miles and they wanted 4999 for it... then i saw a 95 gt mustang 5.0 with 170k on it with headers and k&n... wanted 3750...

but i ended up with a straight and pretty nice 88 LX mustang... 5.0 with some nice headers and full exhaust... like 2.5 or 2 1/4 exhaust... and a k&n filter and some heat shield the other owner made for around the filter... has some new and pretty nice perelli tires... the chassis has 124k on it, and the engine and tranny was recently rebuilt... i think the engine is just OEM rebuilt... but the tranny has some mild shiftkit...

i have some pics but it was dark out...

So it's an auto?

At least you got the lighter body style. Any positive manifold pressure in this Mustangs future?

ohh and the mufflers are flowmasters... has a pioneer premier cd deck and all the wiring for a amp in the back... it has some huge autometer tach with shiftlight... its kinda gay but i dont really wanna take it out and cut wires and ---- like that... its not toooo bad :/

ohh and it has 4 point harnesses for the driver AND the passenger... little overkill... but i didnt put em there :P

Haha, they did all that and the motor is still stock(minus the exhaust)? We're going to need some "before" times soon.

the 4 point harness is overkill, i guess the guy new what he was doin though is what the dealer was tellin me... he might have ran a bunch of nitrous through it or something... the guy traded it in for a van because he knock'd up his wife twin style...

at first this russian dude sales guy was like dude man this car is fast its supercharged! i was like hmm pop the hood, hes like dude its fast! im like IM SURE POP THE DAMN HOOD.

this is my reinactment.

pop, lift...

looks at top of engine, laughs... no blower...

ohh wait maybe its centrifugal... looks ohhh!!! d'oh a/c compressor, looks othe side... D'oh alternator...

i was like, well its not supercharged, but it has headers and some filter... the guys like... well its fast... maybet he dude who traded it in had a blower on it... and told the guys about it... and then took it off when he traded... the red intake manifold may be a give away it wasnt on there the entire time :P but its not abnormally clean compared to the engine... lol

it speaks pretty good, but its not the speakin' i like to hear like the camaro, just RRRRAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW and gettin louder and shakin your brains out and pullin up concrete... it speaks pretty good until like 5k rpms and it kinda smooths out... i bet a camshaft would wake it up good... but i dont wanna become a ford guy! i wanted a z28 :/

i dunno what it would run, but the power comes on so smooth cause of the torqueyness that it doesnt seem all that fast, and since its an auto you arent grabbin gears so that adds to the not so fast feeling, but it spins the big *** pirellis just gunin it... and it spins the top of 1st goin into it easy

Nice find Johnny. LX 5.0 are deff. the way to go. You do realize that you are required to boost that thing, right?
Even 8-10psi through that thing on a decent turbo should be good for around 400-450ftlbs of stump pulling power.

i dunno if they're supposed to have 4 wheel discs, but this one does... and it stops like a mother ******! wayyyyy wayyy wayyy better than my integra. i mean this thing STOPS. i dunno if they're abs either but it won't skid either... it has to have some suspension work done to it cause it handles really well and the body does not roll at all... and it rides really stiff but really nice too.
