engine dyno wire harness ??
 
is there some company that sell a wiring harness to put a honda motor on a engine dyno. or do i just have to rig one up ? is there a diagram or something to cross reference. i did a search but came up with jack ----

why bother when regular dynos are so much more common? i guess you would have to rig up some kind of engine harness + dash harness + ecu so it can run right. thats a lot of work....

You have to DIY. Get some shock tower plugs and wire them into an ECU.

It's work you only have to do once but well worth it because engine dynos are 10x more useful than chassis dynos. You can hold loadpoints for any amount of time, have full control over the coolant temperatures and ability to test engine changes without putting it into the ------- car. Putting an engine into a car just to dyno it sounds like a lot of work to me and until the engine development has been completed it's of no use throwing it into a car anyway. Also, no bullshit drivetrain loss figures.
