engine blown again (now with pics)
 

Just put in a 'new' engine (49 k mile on it), drove about 1500 miles and today on the highway the damn fucker blew again @ 0.9 bar = 13 psi. It still runs, but only on three cylinders, and blows smoke like a mofo. It's not leaking any coolant, so i guess i fried some rings.

Prolly the end of engine # 3 :'( (at this rate my car consumes only 6 engines a year :-X)

Get a bigger turbo if you want sum more power.
I heard that you only did a 15.1 in the 1/4 mile?

Welcome to my world, I fried one of my cheap-ass NAPA corolla pistons again last weekend, my car isn't blowing smoke, though it's just got way low compression in that cylinder.

Just like I thought:

The pieces of metal that were missing on the piston, were welded on the cylinder.

The top of the piston is bended inwards, but you can't see that in the pictures.

Anyway, put in a 'new' engine, hopefully this one will last till spring.

those rod's are twice as thick as the d-series rod's
I compared them with the brown top ZC rod's supposed to be the strongest D-series rod's

hahahaha lol.
I was basically driving without a turbo.....with my 1.5 inch exhaust >:(
car wouldn't rev past 6k just died and it would just start decelarate.
