Yeah probably best not to take that test with 14 hours of driving on your ass.

For the record IN is the armpit of the nation, all truck stops and Walmarts and bad pavement. I'm told ARRRRR-Kansas is worse - remind me to never go there either.

Arkansas is worse. Shithole of the nation.

Somehow this whole mess is Wes' fault. Tell him if Gobad loses, we're blaming him.

Good luck guys. See you next week.

Television is dramatic. I wonder how much of me raising hell at the Z car team will make airtime.

Wow, that was lots of fun. Lost by a half car, but it was a hell of a race.

Raising Hell more like JD ------- owned them!

The other honda that was with goforth ran pretty fast too. They lost becuase of a misshift on the first race and then they broke the tranny on the line on the next run. The other team were though and gave them until tomorrow to fix it. When I left at about 10:30pm they were already started on swapping in a spare. So hopefully they get some sleep tonight. Their down two but you never know.

They broke the midshaft, actually.

That car is nuts. Brandon ran 11.3 on qualifying pass, low boost, mild launch and shifting, and the car is geared so that it went through the traps before it topped out in third gear. :o

Do you know which people were associated with the Nova? Some of the guys there are ------- awesome people and shoot from the hip. Nothing against the Z-car guys when I say that... the Z-guys are about as good at sandbagging and ---- talking and negotiating as their car is fast - which is perfect for that show, probably exactly what the producers wanted, and they ran us pretty good. It was everything we had to get that last fair run against them, and I'd guess we saw 90 to 100% of what that car is. A half car at the traps is pretty close, and to do it again would turn out the other way around depending on how the cards fell. Respect where respect is due, though, the CRX is a 9 second car and .9 seconds lead to equalize vehicles means that 260 is running 8's. Freaking insane car.

They are talking about bringing the CRX back into action for another episode. I think a breather setup is what the car needs, badly badly badly. The turbo is junk, and the engine is on it's last leg after a couple years of serious beatdown and 350+ dragstrip passes, but the blowby is due to lack of breather.

Huh so it was just an axle on brandons car cool. I hope those guys got some rest last night then. When eveyone was looking the car over it was making a lot of noise in the gear box and the throwout bearing was making noise. They were still down two races starting this morning so I hope they pulled it out and won. But the nova crew were a good bunch of people and if they won they earned it.

I actually hungout with the nova crew about half the day after you had to leave. I'm terrible with names so I can't remember but that guys wife was probably the best negotiater of the entire day she had the Z crews number and they weren't getting by with any of their usaul antics.

When it came time for them to race brandon the Nova crew really showed good sportsmanship both sides were honest. When brandon broke they came right over and said do what you have to to get running we just want a race.

Oh ok Jasons car just didn't have a any kind of crankcase ventilation the way that thing was smoking at the end of the first run I was sure it had a cracked ring or something. Then when he went down the track two more times It was obviously not anything major but I couldn't figure out why. I'm sure the vacuum lkine blowing of the fpr didn't help either.
