I saw one of these a while back. Its supposed to add 100 ft/lbs of torque. Never saw it actually used, I thought it was just another bunk thing.

Maybe someone should buy one and try it out :D

It sounds pretty shitty to me, just think, it has to add horsepower and torque through a belt. And it's only adding at the very end of the crank. Doesn't sound like it will work very well to me but i didn't read all of it.

well, with the tornado air intake insert and a electric turbo charger in the intake infront of the tornado and a set of bosch platnum fours, along with a k&n filter and four bottles of octane booster in the tank along with a whip cream can NOS set up, i bet you can make 300whp in a 89' crx hf! and if you add that electric supercharger you'll be getting 450hp outta the 88'crx hf on stock internals!

There are some OEM cars that do this by the way, they have an electric motor in the flywheel to get more acceleration with less fuel.

this isnt an electric sc this has nothing to do with pushing air into the motor ::). It has been proven that electric motors put out waaay more tq than a gas motor and this motor is simply helping the TQ of hte motor at low RPM's. as far as it being belt driven im not worried aobuti t i mean look, motorcycles are belt/chain driven and so is your timing belt and superchargers. the belt is wide and can take it.

i bet it weighs a good bit. It would depend on power provided by the motor if it's worth it or not.

48v and 600amps is a good chunk of power. im guessing anywhere from 70-100 ft-lb tq and it wounds like it has planetary gears

I like that idea to an extent

Seems complicated and expensive, id rather make power the old fashioned way, more air, more fuel and more spark

but there is only so far a honda can go before you have issues with lag, this could take care of lag and even give you an edge launching
