Ok, one more misconception to add to the list.
--Government money spent on the war is bad for the economy.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it not government spending into programs such as the CCC and all the other millions of acronym government programs that began to pull us out of the great depression and ulitmately WWII that pulled us all the way out.
Sure, the deficit grows, but that money is being pumped into the economy which allows it to grow. Later on when things are better, the the gov. ups taxes and reduces the deficit. This is roughly a 30 year cycle that has repeated itself time and time again.
--Truth: War is good for the economy.

This is true. Good point.

I also must say that I am pleased with the outcome of this thread.

There are some very intelligent people on this site.

I think this will be one of the largest land slides in history in favor of Bush. No matter what you think of Bush(who I personaly like) I can't see anyone else who is even slightly interesting enough to win.

There is a push to get voters that are not voting to vote Democrat. The president has little to do with the things that the public sees on a daily basis. The stock market crashed while Clinton was in office....Did HE have anything to do with it.... Probably not.But it could be attributed to his administration.

I admire the fact that we didn't wait to strike back for what those idiots did to us omn Sept 11th. I would have gone after them sooner. I don't want to see any of our people die. I can't Imagine Losing someone I love to a War but compalin all you want until our people go to war. Then you should support them.

I am going to go on with my life whoever wins. I do Prefer the values and Views of the Republican party though.

It's like a slutty girl - they are fun to be with for a short time but most guys don't want to marry them. It was kind of Funny to laugh at Clinton during the scandal. I didn't want him running the country though. I don't want someone who thinks it is ok for gays to have special rights.
Or someone who thinks it is ok to preform late term abortions or abortions at all. I don't want my kids taught to accept crap like that because they go to a public school.

These things may not be typical of the candidates running right now. But it is typical of the Democratic party.

Dude, I don't support Saddam, I'm glad we got him, come on man. Don't make me out to be anything I'm not. i just don't like Bush that is it. I don't suppost Terrorism, I supported going into Afghanistan. I am all for making this Nation safe and I haven't had a big post about anything in like a page so stop bashing me. I already recinded my title as the only guy who disagrees. If this is going to just be a nonvtec bash and not actual debate, just let it die then.

I think everyone on this site makes very good points. We all can voice our opinion on this matter since we are a democracy. I believe we did a good thing by bringing saddam down. But I also think we should use our money to help our nation from what our economy is now. I believe also we should help iraq to have a freedom nation and introduce them to democracy but not force them to it. If there are other countries out to try and take over iraq for it resources then by all means we should help them. But the question is was saddam involved with 911? And where in the hell is osama?

Thats all media crap, media pushes the democrats and makes them look cool, republicans know better.

john kerry is a hypocrite, dean is a dork, lol, did you see him kiss his wife, ugh....

Oh and nonvtec, im glad your actually learning from this, maybe before the elections you might actually change your vote to bush, but its your decision. Theres alot of campaigning out there towards non-voters saying move along and such, but whats it saying, there just trying to tell you to not vote for bush. Id rather put, none of the above, than vote for one of the other canidates. Ever see brewster's millions, good movie. and the other two canidates in that movie are a good example of the democrats in this election, just putting money into shaming the other, and bush, well, not a real good example, but you get what i mean. lol
