the civic was attatched to a cable...that held it in place instead of letting it take the hit and fly out of the way.

It's no mystery that I'm going to get fucked if I get in an accident in my hatch. That's a given.
That's why I drive so defensively, and why I installed a loud ass horn. Other than that there's not much you can do. |

us spec hondas have a beam in the doors, Euro specs dont, US spec have a bumper support under the bumper, euro spec don't. US spec has air bags, some EU spec only have a driver side one or none. not saying a civic is safe, I am just saying they arent that unsafe. |

Iv seen crashes where a 90 civic hatch got hit from behind at 50 from a f150 and it punted the civic into the intersection. One of the cars going the oppisite way carshed into a poll to miss the civic.
Civic=fucked but driver was fine F150=fixable driver was fine rodeo hit the poll=fucked with driver had major injures. |

Heres what happens to a nissan altima, going 15 mph and running into the back of a Ford F350.
