Default EG carpet question, are they all interchangable?

I have a EG9 sedan and need to get my carpet back, my local bone yard has a nice short hair carpet from a 93 EX/Si Hatch, now I know the chassis is the same on the EG models, since my buddies hatch side skirts can fit my 4 door, the only difference in the carpet would be the plastic door trim, which I wouldnt use anyway. what do you guys think?

well chassis length should be the same, since its the same outside I would assume its the same inside, its not even about the length, but the place where the reinforcements are located. some people have both cars and would know.

Yes All carpets are the same!. They all end under the back seat. Ive only delt with 5 speeds though. So Auto carpets might have a different cut out for the shifter.

short hair huh, you have **** carpetting in that sedan man? :1

why not get aftermarket NEW replacement carpet? you're going through all this work to make it nice again, why not spend a lil there.

looky looky! http://www.automotivecarpet.com/catalog/index.php

Yeah, the chassis length is the same, the only difference on a sedan is they made the front door shorter and added one in the rear, the hatch has a shorter butt after the rear suspension.

I just want something for now to reduce the road noise, I found some guy on the local forums who has a coupe with black carpets in great condition, just a bit dusty, should do the job.
