Re: ED Rtoh tool box
What is so good about this toolbox?
And you can remove gasket material with a razor blade/Exacto knife and some paint thinner. Tell everyone you know to use metal head gaskets and you wont get this problem. |

Re: ED Rtoh tool box
Well then I dont know man, Call God and tell him to make life easier for you, you can email him too
God@Heaven.com If that dosnt work then I dont know what will, I use razorblades and various corrosive fluids, then I use gasketspray, I dont know why they wouldnt let you use gasket spray, Ferrari Use similar stuff at their dealerships in europe. |

they dont make it anymore, and god damn on the price :o that isnt a bad deal for a collectors edition tool box. that box alone without the rat fink would prolly run you $2500- :-\ |

Re: ED Rtoh tool box
when i remove gaskets i use a whizzy wheel which is a green plastic peice or a bristol brush peice. Both work great cause they remove the gasket and rough the surface so the next gasket has something to grip onto. The box is nice cause its a big ass box ill need for the snapon tool kit im buying through there school program.PLus its a badass box and im into old school ---- like rat phink and the clay cams road runner.
Link mustang-i go to pitt community college and im in the automotive technition program, yeah i love goin there (even thought im skipping class right now), Im in the second year of a two year program. Its alot of basic bullshit in the beginning but if you hang in there then it gets really fun. |
Re: ED Rtoh tool box
Talk to the Matco guy. We have one at work. The pic is cool, but it's not worth $3000.

Re: ED Rtoh tool box
---- no i can get a big ass snap-on box with 60% off normal price way larger then that. And for the thread jcker just use wizzy wheels man how easy are-very. Thing about the box is it would be cool to have the limited addition but if its to much adn to hard then id be better off just buyin a matco box at a great price with normal paint and then paint rat phink on myself and then id be able to throw the clay cams road runner on there.

Re: ED Rtoh tool box
that was what I was gonna say. my brother just bought a huge snap on tool chest (I havent seen it yet) and hes gonna have the mopar emblem painted on it. he found a pinstriper guy at a car show, and is gonna hire him. only gonna run him like $250 and the guy will come to the house to paint it. snap on wanted an extra $700-$1000 for a box with something on it. :-\

Re: ED Rtoh tool box
Matco boxes are by far the nicest in the industry, before I bought mine I looked at snap on, mac and cornwell boxes. I'm very happy with mine, even though it will be paid off sometime in late 2007 ;)
Whizy wheel w/ Green/Yellow pad is the best for removing gaskets from aluminum. and 80/120 grit (brown/blue) pads are good for cast iron. |
Re: ED Rtoh tool box
I bought some r134 gauges from matco and im very happy with there customer service, guys really want your business. IM suppose to talk with the sales rep for our district tommorow.
