which ecu??
 
which ecu should i run for sl/vtec in my 5th gen civic. I need obd1 and thought about a DOHC VTEC del sol si ecu and harness but i'm not sure if there was an obd1 one. help please and fast! along with any other options

assuming it is a d16z6 (obd1 si-vtec motor) use a P28

i second this. Or you could always use the OBD1 gsr ecu or that delsol ecu. I'd go p28 since it's cheaper and if you're car already had it you won't have to buy anything else. And plus you could chip it for cheap too.

by p28 do you guys mean the existing ecu in my ex (d16z6) now? the only other thing is that the car now is an automatic and I am swapping in a cable 5spd. however instead of going with a hydro pedal assembly and then doing the hydro/cable conversion i want to just get ahold of like a 90-93 integra cable pedal assembly. but would this present any other problems by using my stock p28 in the car now to go auto-->5spd???? thanks again guys

run a chipped p28 (uberdata) with gsr maps.

sorry for the typo, LS/VTEC (B18A1 bottom,B16A2 head)
