17 available @ $99.99, people who want a welder should take advantage of this one. Might not be the best professional welder, but for what we do it'll work fine.

If you have a local Harbor Freight, this one: Mig 100 is a little bit better because it has more adjustment and goes to 90 amps. It ends up being around the same price if you don't have to pay for shipping. Just another option to consider.

yeah, actually mine goes up to 90 amps also, it looks the same as that one, but it's a different brand, either way, it's more than enough for charge piping and exhaust b/c i have to set it on the lowest heat setting...

Re:ebay welder

using a self sheilding flux cored wire. is that the same as using gas with it???...or does it not compare and it sucks ass. id really like to know this. im somewhat in the market for a nice mig welder

Dr.Boost 04-24-2004 12:21 PM

Re:ebay welder

No, that is not a replacement for gas, nor does it compare to what a gas welder would produce. Flux sucks, period, but it works. :-\
