i broke one in half. it was a ebay 2 bend one but i was a jackass shifting like godzilla. so i guess it was my fualt yea it lasted about 4 months

never fail and the feeling was great... each time i was driving my friend mazda protégé 2k i felt like i was driving an old 67 truck

installed it, whenever i install somthing theres the easy way, and my way.. couldnt get any muffler bolts undone so i just forced ---- out the way, got it out, smoked 3 times, put it back in, it hits my exhaust. also the gay spacers didnt stop me from over-tightening it so it could bareley shift. losen it up, put a extra nut ontop of the 1st one so maybe it wouldnt fall off, then jammed a short piece of 2x4 between the pipe and heat shield now i think its ok, didnt seem to rub. damn it shift short, like half as much throw.

Yup makes a big difference.That and I have found the biggest change especially on a old EF is to put the urethane in it firms it up so much that any other car I get in feels like sloppy thirds.

all those link are shifters made with alunimum and will break eventrully.
Theres a stainless steel one made by Megan racing that will last for---------ever :

They only break if you shift like a ------- retard. I have never had a problem with any of my short throws from Eghey.

i got one on my ek, works great i tried breaking it right after installing it and it didnt buge if u can break this mo ****** then u'r shifting toooo hard, i love mine though and it cost me about 8 bucks shipped
