Re: The Duh Vinci Code
there is evidence supporting that God created earth and man, jesus was a fatherless child etc.? Stories ------ over thousands of years, can easily be taken as fact.
Do you beleive that there is a higher power in control of your life/destiny?

You don't have to believe that some things (such as Jesus being the son of God, or that God created everything, etc) but if you take it as a historical account its accurate. Take for instance, Jesus. He was a real man, and even if not believed as the Saviour, he was renouned as a "Great Prophet" by many faiths. He did, in fact, walk on this Earth.

And FYI, they weren't "------". There are original transcripts written at the time of Jesus that are still in existence, that are in Greek. When translated into English directly (which it has been done btw), it has the exact same message at "other" versions of the Bible. So they're still accurate to the beginning transcripts.

There lots of proof, but you do have to have some faith or at least some belief that there is a higher power, if not you won't really want to see it. Historically it has been proven that all of the people named as kings, the events of nations raising to be the superpower and others falling written in the bible have been confirmed by archeologists. Even events that where told years before they happened. The bible is not just about Jesus, there's a lot of history in it. A study of the bible will help understand that, but most people either don't have time, or don't want to change their ways, actually don't want to be told something they do right now is not really good for them or good to do. That's when you get people hating on it.
Then there's also the centuries of abuse by some faiths or some churches to their followers, which sadly affect how people see religion, grouping them all together, instead of judging invididual faiths by themselves.
but oh well, everyone will have a different point on this, it's part of being human I guess.

The bad reviews were comming from cult church america and the rest of the crazy people who believe that god created the earth in 7 days
Anyway, the real god is a guy named Bill, and he smoked out 8,000 people with one joint in 299 B.C.

It's like hearing words in a song that later turn out to be totally different than what you previously believed...

The movie put me to sleep. Whenever I woke up, I found Tom Hanks and the french ---- quivering in fear from a cripple holding a gun. At that point I knew the movie was crap but I couldn't go back to sleeep so I watched it till the end. I hold Dan Brown and the author of Harry Potter in the same esteem. Their fiction is on par with each other, the only disparity between the two is the age of their audience.
