stock dsms run high 14's to low 15's stock, they run about 12psi stock and gettin a boost controller to run 16-7 psi is not going to make them run 13.9's, i ran a 14.8 with my crx with b16 w/i/e and shitty clutch, and my friend went 14.3 in his crx with stock airbox, and exhaust cutout.

AWD DSM's are rated for a 15.0 @ 92mph from the factory... as-is bone stock. That isn't very fast at all. Nothing special. Especially compared to a gutted out B16 CRX.

Now yes, with just stupid "free mods" and a free flowing exhaust you can get a DSM very very fast. Personally I got a 13.1 @ 106mph outta my VR4 on the stock turbo, clutch, intercooler, etc... only mods I had were a chip, exhaust, injectors, intake.

You don't need a lot to get a DSM to run a quick pass. But there are a lot of idiots out there too.

Well if we're going to have a fair comparison, let's compare a "bone-stock" AWD DSM to a "bone-stock" Crx, not a gutted Crx with a motor swap. Gutted with a motor swap=modded. I don't see any "bone-stock" Crx's running anything close to a 15.0 1/4.

lol. im guessing prob a high 14 or so with full interior. maybe low 14's on slicks, a friends b16a with y1 tranny ran a 13.7 on slicks gutted. but thats just my guess

in my talon fwd hell yeah its fast i also had a ton of money in it but the only race i ever lost was to a 89 5.0 that was supercharged and pushing close to 450whp and id say that talon or eclipse must have had something realy wrong with it to be beat buy your crx that bad
