Default Drunken sledding (pics, 56k warning)

So I got tanked last night and decided to do some sledding with some friends. I don't know why but I picked out a pretty ridiculous outfit to go sledding in, although it turned out to be very warm and dry. Check it out:

Wish I had some video of the sledding, there were plenty of wipeouts.

Nice outfit. Were you sledding like sliding down a hill or snowmobiling?

Downhill on a cheap *** sled. I felt every bump in the ground.

Before winter is over I'm going to do a HM sled setup just for the hell of it. We usually go sledding on this golf course right down the street from me, it has an awesome slope.

Get some ropes preferably the type used for waterskiing and go behind a vehicle it is awesome. We use to use the GT type sleds with the steering wheels and go on some back roads where there is usually big dogs in every yard that would come out and chase you. That ---- is so much fun i miss doiing it.

Ha, I love the outfit. Isn't it for surfing though? LOL. Not enough snow here yet but I'll have to get some pics when we go. How can you do a HMSled? We do the ghetto sled pull in the mud behind the 250, but not on the road. We tore the sled to shreads on the road so only this hard plastic one on the mud now.

we used to go out in this sandy aread and get towed behind my buddies truck on a knee board, or wed get to the top or the hills and try to kneeboard down. usually youd make it about halfway down and eatshit and tumble the rest of the way. i live in havasu so we dont get any snow.

Home made sled is actually pretty easy. You just buy a metal trashcan lid, prolly have to get the whole can though to get the lid. Then take a dremel to the handle, cut it off. I usually sand down the bottom of it too for that little extra slickness.

I've also seen plastic discs used...but we couldn't find that type of sled anywhere in town - not even wal mart. Another thing I've seen a friend use is some type of thick sheet metal that was hardened. I was thinking more of some kind of PVC structure...the possibilities are limitless.
