so solve that problem by making your own axles. isnt that what was proved with the picture above *the undercarriage photo.
admit it, an AWD civic/teg/crx anything would be bad as ----.

Johnny you should see the axles in front of my bosses black 911 twin turbo porsche, they are about the same size as the crv's! I couldnt beleive it. 400+ hp too..

I highly doubt the CRV drivetrain would hold i would expect the diff to just ---- as soon as it makes any serious torque 
. The crv rear-end also has the same effect on me when i see it on the road : P. I got a question though what's up with using CRV parts why not just go completely custom or is it cool to stay all honda and say JDM y0. Just seems like alot of work for some axyle's thinner than my ***** : P

I still don't understandwhy anyone would use a crv rear end, you could use just about any rear end as long as you made the axles custom to fit it and the hond knuckels. ----, there's that one accord w/ a ford 9" in it. If I were to do a rwd teg I'd use a sivia rear end or something along those lines, and just do the axles accordingly. I think then the only weak link would be the tranny/t-case which I'm sure can be beefed up in the same manner you'd use for a high performance tranny. It wouldn't handle extended periods of say 300+ whp abuse, but I think you could throw a good 250 at it and it would hold up just fine, plus you'd have more options for a rear LSD.
