Default 'drifted' on the freeway and almost died.

Well i wasn't intentionally trying to drift I was just... well here's my story. :P

Well I was driving down the 405 at around 4pm, as the SoCali people know, it's traffic hour. Zippin' along through traffic and all of the sudden the camry (a gold one that ******) braked in front of me, since it looked like he was about 3 feet away from me, I swerve into the right lane, and when I did the car slid, and of course I was like ----! So I pulled the wheel the other way and slid once again. During this slide, I noticed that my foot was full throttling the gas, so I let off and tap the brake, after a couple little jerks I regain control and drove off like nothing happened.

That ---- was ------' scary. Thank goodness that the two middle lanes were empty, cause if they weren't I woulda been major fucked. That ---- gave me a little scare, I am just seriously happy that I got out in one piece.

Learned a great lesson from this too, because when I merged onto the 605, there was an integra, so I raced him a little, it was fun.

Damn life is precious.

I think the best rule of thumb is when the car gets out of control, don't hit the brakes until your back under control. It's instinct to hit the brakes, but you have to tell yourself not to.

yeah i know steve, I strongly believe that me punching the gas saved me a lot. When I noticed I was flooring the gas pedal, I just let off and lightly tapped the brake to slow down a little.

Funny thing (maybe not that funny) was that I was trying to get into the next lane and after my sliding, I was in the lane I wanted.

There was this guy that kept on yelling something at me but I have no idea what he was trying to say, and I really didn't care. When I got to my destination I was thinking that I might of clipped somebody, but my car still looked good, so I was relieved. I hope I didn't cause anything

Damn, good thing you didn't lose control of that tank. I'd hate to see what it would do to a concrete barrier, or another car. :P That's a pretty heavy car to be having swinging across lanes and ----. That guy that was yelling ---- probably sharted after seeing it happen. He was just mad because he needed a new pair of underware. Did he look like Julio?
