Draining water from air compressor?
How often do you guys do this? What different kinds of setups can you get? I've seen some water seperators and various other types of ----. I've just been draining the tank from the valve at the bottom every coupld of weeks. Is there a better way to do this? Thanks guys

Re: Draining water from air compressor?
So it's only bad to have that water in the tank when I'm doing something like spraying a car, correct? If I crack it just a bit, I won't have a problem with my die grinder or impact wrench or anything? Thanks guys.

Re: Draining water from air compressor?
the water in the tank goes into your air tools and brakes them down, you dont put water in your engine only oil.
same with air tools, your saposed to oil them every few hours of usse and keep the water out of the lines, thats y u have water separators on your lines aswell. ps i havent been oiling my composit ingersol rand and now its in the shop |
Re: Draining water from air compressor?
If you are spraying a car you need aa good separator, or you will get bad fish eyes

Re: Draining water from air compressor?
I love when my air tools wet themselves on my arms when using them.
We never drain the tanks. |
