Haha owned. How does that one happen? Driveshaft disappear and so does suspension?

You'd almolst have to try and do that!

Re: Drag Race Fuckup

I would guess the bolts holding the driveshaft to the diff snapped and the shaft is just hanging down under the car, but it's definitely messed up.

my guess is the other way around...suspension lets loose while the driveshaft is still turning but since theres nothing holding the axle it just spins over and then the driveshaft lets loose

yup and the driveshaft safety loop is keeping the driveshaft from sight.

the car looked pretty "built" for the drive not to be wearing a helmet. either its a really old vid or it was staged

When the ladder bars ripped off the pinion angle maxed out the u-joint and broke either the u-joint, or caps, driveshaft or all the above. Driveshaft loop is holding it up under the car.

looks like he was wearing a helmet, just took it off before getting out of the car. look at the part where he was staging it looks to be the outline of a helmet.

I'd say it was legit... just cutting corners and too anxious to get things done yielding a funny ass ---- up.

???

the driveshaft is bolted onto the yoke on the rear end. it slips into the transmssion in the front

and? maybe i worded it a little funny, read what eville said, thats what i meant. ...Rear end breaks loose from the suspension, but since there is still power going to it, the rear end tries to turn over which causes it to snap the u-joint...at least thats my guess. jb weld ftw
