Drag Launching Alignment settings (camber, caster, toe)

Been doing a little research on the H-T and so far I have concluded that as much positive caster as possible is good, about -.5 degree of camber in each of the two front wheels is good, and about 1/8" - 1/4" of total toe (both wheels added) is about good. The rest is fine tuning to see what gets you the best results.

Just wondering what some of your weekend warriors have your alignments set to and what you found works best.

I am picking up an Ingalls kit for my front camber this week and some slicks and I want to nail down my 60' times and get better at launching so I am taking the car in to see a friend at the alignment shop.

Re: Drag Launching Alignment settings (camber, caster, toe)

I move my front wheels all the way back (sorta like castor) with my front traction bar (homemade).

Set the toe to zero (in my garage bisi stylez)
and adjust the ride height so the driver side sits 1/2 an inch lower.

I also adjust the rear shock to its stiffest setting.

I get a good launch this way, both tires spin (open diff) and it seams to go pretty good. I haven't played around with it too much.

Next up is limiting straps. :D
