Re:DR. BOOST, you ride?

I'm in Lake Havasu, AZ. Glamis is about 2 hours away. I'll be up there every other weekend for the rest of the season. I love it there. I'm thinking about a turbo golf cart with a motor swap and padddles. ;D

I'd kill to ride at Glamis. I got a 92' Banshee (clocked at 107mph even beat a ZX6) and I wanna do a turbo on it so bad. East Coast ATV is right up the street from me and they have a turbo banshee there and its just insane. They're selling the whole setup for $5000. I'd rather build one for $500
That would be crazy. :o I used to ride Banshee's, but dirtikes are my favorite. I was thinking about a kit for my bike, but I think it would be too much trouble and weight. :-\

i use to ride flatland and do some dirt jumping too, i rode for about 4 yrs. then i busted my knee cap and bottom of my femur about 3 yrs ago and haven't ridden since, not that i wouldn't like to, it's just that by the time my knee was even well enough to walk normal, i had sold my bikes and just never got back into it, haven't really done ---- actually since then (surf, mx, etc.), maybe i should get off my ass and do something :-\

I used to ride 10-14 hours a day, cause I had to to stay competitive. Now i ride whenever I want, but I'd get my ass whooped in a pro comp. I can still throw hitchhikers and stuff like that, but no more upsidedown timemachines or hiker to backpackers or crazy ---- like that you know? you should get back on two wheels even if you don't ride hard it can be good to get away from things.

I pretty much grew up in parker, you know the house next door to sundance with the grass on the roof and there used to be a seaplane out in front it on the river? That's my grandpa's (now my uncle's) house. I was there every weekend from when I was born to when I was 12. I was just out there two weeks ago, I should have came by and said whats up. Next time i'm out there you should come out and drink some beers, or vice versa.

Wow, what a small world it is. Next time you're around let me know and I'll cruise out there. I have never actually been to Sundance, although I have heard a lot of great stories. ;D Is there anywhere to ride out there? I heard there was a small spot sandy area to ride, but I have never seen it. I'd like to find someplace to ride with my paddle so I don't have to change it everytime I get back from Glamis. I have to ride every weekend or I get shaky and start twitching. :-\

there is a dune right across from the house off the highway on th california side. Not sure how legal it is but I see people there all the time. just go down through "downtown" parker and make a right when you cross the river, you'll go like 8-10 miles and see it on the left side.

I'll have to check that out. It costs me $12 every time I change the tire. That adds up after a few trips, plus I like the sand more than anything.
