I have a iron horse warrior and I love it. Its more heavy xc or maybe free ride but definitely not down hill. DH bikes are rediculous to try and ride flat or up hill, it just wont happen. But I can take this thing anywhere and still ride for hours and not be dead tired. I got it as a previous years model from dicks for like 500 or something.

I used to do race mtb xc. On the downhill sections I could hit a 45 coming down a hill on a dirt path. That ---- was intense for me not to mention you still have people on both sides of you still trying to pass you. Downhill racing was a little too intense for me. I never dumped it but saw it happen and watch dudes get run over and ---- and with clip on pedals it was even more of a site. When I first started racing I had an old Mongoose that I cracked the headtube. Upgraded and bought a Giant XTC SE 1 that ran me 1300 on sale being it was last years model. I wouldn't mind getting back into racing. It was fun and cheap. Downhill racing I'll just watch. :P
