has anyone ever noticed that speedTV has put WAAAY too much stuff about NASCAR on? anyopne want some REAL driving events? sign the petition to hopefull bring more of the good stuff..

they dont show f1 and rally here because if they did no one would watch it. And if no ones watching it they cant charge as much for advertisement than they could. While F1 is a cool driving sport, no one really gives a ---- about it. So, NASCAR it is. It brings in the $$$$$$, and I dont think most nascar fans could pronounce the names of the f1 drivers.

yea, with me, i think nascar's boring as ----, and never watch it. but at the same time, i don't really know much of the WRC drivers, i pretty much just watch it if it's on. i do know of a few though..

I hate nascar, but you can't take away from the skills of the drivers. Driving 200mph even if it is just making left turns, 1 inch from the other guy's bumper, and dealing with the g forces and the harsh suspension, is not easy.

I still think it sucks, but it does require some skills.

I think with F1 and WRC, you need more skills, you not only drive fast but have to be careful of the turns, and with rally the insane cliffs and crazy terrains.


By the way this is a repost, it was already posted and most of us who cared already signed it.

and Nascar does bring the money, so they wont change.

WRC kicks ass and F1 is for homo's....buncha fucksticks....yep..that's that.....------ petition....fine, it may not be your fav to watch, but before speed became so fixated on Nascar no one was watching, the other sports cant seem to get their ---- together and have some orginization and marketing, Sunday's belong to The France family.....oh and maybe the good lord...and that's a big fukin maybe...

I like WRC much better. I really don't like NASCAR really. way too boring. The only fun part as bad as this sound is the crashes :-\

btw i saw "Days of Thunder" like two days ago..that movie is funny

Personally I ------- hate nascar.

---- Nascar, I honestly rather watch people drive on the highway from the overpass, its pretty much the same thing I can bring my own beer and I dont have to buy tickets.

F1, JGTC, Touring Car, WRC and pretty much any circuit/road racing is where its at, at least there is skill involved in this type of racing.

Now take your WRC car, add 42 others, and go three wide 14 deep while actually touching each other(bump drafting) for three hours at 200mph, oh wait, a WRC car turning 9700rpm for three hours solid, yah i forgot, never gonna happen, yep, it's a little back woods and redneck, i used to be you man..hated the sport, started watching, learning, the technoligy is very involved, the personalities involved are a blast, and ever heard of a roadcoarse my friend? Watching Robbie Gordon hustle a 3800pnd monster around watkins glen would bring a tear to your eye....sorry i got so offended...i dont get out much....

too bad the WRC motors get beat to hell, and I doubt they're at 9700rpm- that's too high for a ------- american car. lol i remember hearing a muscle guy go "oh dam, he must be at like 6 grand!" then i showed em some 8K vtec and owned his MONTE CARLO. pos

plus, they accel on the straight for a second, then get back on the brake to enter the turn.. hella retarded

Dude, wake up, technology? they have about as much technology as a can opener.

who cares if there is 42 cars touching each other, look at the shitty airflow characteristics, no wonder when they touch paint one guy goes flying off and causes a chain reaction, wtf kind of racing is that? Have you seen when touring cars bash each other around the track?

the point is to pass the other guy and stay in the lead, not attempt to kill half of the field.
and who gives a ---- bout 200MPH, the point of real racing is not speed, but accleration and ability to outhandle your opponent, suspension, aerodynamics how fast you can get out of the hole and drivers skill is what makes real racing. none of this falls in to the characteristics of NASCRAP.

No offence gainst you bro, but this is something I feel very strongly about, and so do others, to get a positively negative answer try sending an email to Jeremy from Top Gear about this issue and see what he says...lol ever had an english man laugh at you?

These threads are gay and those petitions don't do anything. ::) I bet half the people who sign that petition won't even watch the programming they're bitching about to get on the air. Nascar is the #1 sport in America and will bring in the most money so thats what they're going to play. Your petition doesn't mean ----.

you cant respect nascar for what it is unless you actually get off your ass and go there. nothing like the sound of cars screaming by at however mph they go.
but i have to admit.. nascar on tv can get boring.. most of the over taking and passing is done in the first couple laps.. and the last 10 laps. so if your watching it on tv. just flip the channle and watch something else for a while then tune back in for the last 10 laps ;D

i love f1 and rally. flat out the most awesome racing sport out there. i bet an adrenaline rush u get from being there and actually watching a rally car wizz by would be well worth the wait.

in f1.. if a car touches.. its out of service.. but in nascar.. most of the time when cars hit. they just keep going.. or if theyres damage that causes a fender to rub on the tire, they drive to the pits. slap on new tires. use whatever tools they have to bend back the damage. and they drive off, the whole pits thing is awesome too

drag racing was boring for me too.. untill i went to an event and saw it first hand.. you learn to appreciate the time and effort that those people put into making the event work...

i think all motorsports have thuer own merits from nasscar to the baha 1000 i think i spellt it proppa here is what us mad dogs and english men do on the closed roads over here :6 :6 turn your speakers rite up and here the sound they do this up the road from me and i go watch it every year 8) i would like to have a go but it costs tooooo much money :-\ :'(

500 laps is excessive i dont care what you say. and i would get board going around a circle for that long

but your prob right i prob like it more if i was actually in it. I quess i see it as baseball. I like to play baseball but watching it is ------- boring.
