no i dont think so. has it gone down yet? in the 80s we had x amount of places to drill and refine. we have to have more now but the price keeps going up. explain that. the whole wholesale buying in blulk thing isnt going to be aplied here. to many people have their hand out. complaining is the only way to do anything about it

acually you are wrong. demand has skyrocketed and our domestic refining ability has stayed the same since the late 70s.

to my knowledge no new refineries have been built since the 70s

ahem, liberals... democrats.... bleeding hearts.... enviromentalists... ext have stopped all attempts to increase domestic oil/gas production

they say oil tycoons will get rich exploiting the land in and around the US if we increase production, but then they also say they are getting rich by charging so much for a gallon of gas.

what is basically comes down to is the enviro-***** dont want you to drive a car or use gasoline.

id rather have cheap gas, rich AMERICAN oil companies/jobs/tax revenue ext.. rather than paying a ---- ton for gas, and having sand ------s get rich who support anti-americanism and terrorisim.

On sept 1st buy a bike day that'll do alot more than dont buy gas. Gas isnt goin down. I was reading and found a couple experts in the field and they came to the same conclusion middle east nations w/ oil have lied for years about how much oil they really have. We have no hard proof of what is really left. Hence there insane pricing there gettin every penny has crude oil just doesnt appear. This is the only answer that made sense and is one that is just another example of we need to develop new ideas to get away from their system. I just paid 3.35 for 91 octane in so cal and Im sure on the coast san diego etc there in the 3.60+ range. I said it we will be at 4.00 before next summer. The cycle isnt gonna change. This is where it us up to you to come up w/ ways around it car pooling, walking to the store etc. Really think in 2 years gas should be around 5.00 a gallon at the rate of inflation in this product.

I'm all for preserving some of the wild lands and ----, but yeah in Alaska there is so much land it is rediculous to think we're going to destroy the whole state by putting up a couple oil drills/refineries and helping the nation in umpteen ways. Yeah ---- the middle east, lets break some American soil for oil!! (should be a slogan or some ----)
