Did you know all motor sucks?
And you said what material you're using in the title. Cut it with a bandsaw |

Re: Doing Lexan Windows?
Heres a site that tells you all the diffrent tools you can use to cut lexan, and how to set them up to get the job done right:
http://www.knoll.com/techdoc/ImagoPr...n%20061603.pdf that should be all you'll need |
Re: Doing Lexan Windows?
I did my sunroof with just a jigsaw and a metal blade. It came out pretty decent, you will have to use a nice file to round the edges so it looks good. And yes leave the plastic on when your cutting it.

Re: Doing Lexan Windows?
Got a 4' by 4' sheet for $35 shipped from either aircraftspruce or whatever their competitor is. Other places on the interweb wanted $jack$, as did Homeboy Depot, and Lowes locally only carries heavyweight shatter-y plexiglass.

Re: Doing Lexan Windows?
FYI, the CRX's rear hatch got discreetly sawzalled and lexaned, weighs in at 16 lbs 9 oz. Looks close enough to stock most ppl wouldn't notice.
