Vs

Stock POS 1987 Grand National running 20 psi of boost

My car isn't running yet im still putting my car together but who do you think is going to win? This guy says he can set his boost between 20-30 psi with 700hp have no traction problems and run 10 seconds all day long with no upgrades besides a new motor on everything stock.

Oh yeah forgot to add he beat a 15.9 second civic by 2-3 car lanks.

Tell him to crank it up to 30 PSI and best of 3 of 5 runs wins. If it's a completely stock motor and fuel setup he'll blow it the first run or so and you can putt through the next 3.

If he's upgraded the turbo (stocker will never run 20-30PSI never) and the fuel system (stocker isn't good enough for 20PSI let alone 30), then you'll get your *** handed to you.

I ran a T-Type in my STi with 3 passengers and lost by about 2 car lengths. My STi ran 12.9@104. The T-Type had slicks and some common GN upgrades. Yes having not launched and having some large passengers did put me at a disadvantage but I still lost.

well in a drag race your strut bars alone give you a 15 car advantage.

I have a 87 grand national and out-of-the-box stock it runs 14.4's so i would say with a 10sec civic if you dont beat it you will be at its door the whole way.

...but if he says he runs between 20-30psi i think he probably has at least a exhaust, intake, straight pipe, and a kenny belle chip to say the least, that right there will leave you
