it's true...i didn't watch the video, but many people just assume that pits are viscious dogs. when in reality, they are trained and bred that way. they're just as nice as the next dog unless they're trained otherwise.

i think its a myth, dogs are bread to be a certain way, and pitbulls are bread to be aggressive, sure theres nice pitbulls, but as a breed, they are more aggressive then other dogs. ;)

agressive is different than wanting to tear another dog to shreds. there are plenty of dog breeks out there that have a less tolerant attitude and personality. but for the most part, it's how they're trained, and how taken care of.

A chiuawa(sp?) will bite you 100times before a pitbull.
You always here about pitbulls biting people but you never here about other dogs attacking. But it happens. they make them out to be monsters. same with rotwiellers.

Thats a great pict.

In a month or so Im going to be getting a gray pit with blue eyes.People think that they are killing machines but they are far from it.Anny animal can be corupted to fight.

pits can be very loving dogs it has to do with how they're raised. usaly dogs that are violent are dogs that have been
beat or hit by their owners. also another thing is pits look intimidating and dogs know when a person fears them and it's more likely that someone will fear a pitbull before they fear a poodle. also alot of people inbreed those dogs and that fucks up their brains and makes the go phycho.

I agree with this 100%. I've almost been bitten by a chiwawa myself. I think it a combination of that if a big dog like a rottwieller attacks it causes more damage and therefore draws more attention, and that there are fools that ruin them through neglect and/or abuse or think it make them a tough guy to have a mean dog. It makes me furious when I hear about town and counties trying to outlaw certain "dangerous" breeds such as Rottweillers, pitbulls, dobermans, etc.
I meant to comment about that pic in the other thread, but it was already locked. Is it purebred? I love Rottweillers, heres mine:

Pitbulls have a bad rep, but it's the owners fault. Look at the dumbfucks who own those dogs that "go crazy" and bite people. The owners are more imbred than the dogs. ::)

My dog was the toughest mother fucker to walk the face of the earth, but around my neice he was careful as can be. He knew she was fragile and watched his ass around her. He was very protective of the family and wouldn't let other dogs near the house. I've pulled him off other dogs before, but it's in every animals nature to scare off potential threats. I'm sure in his mind he was protecting his family. :-\

I'd never own any dog except a pitbull.

We had a Dobermin when I was young that bit me for watching it eat. My mom kicked his ass with a broom all over the yard. He was fairly old when we got him and the previous owners probably fucked him up pretty bad. One of my moms friends came over one day and knocked on the door. The dog jumped a 6 foot fence and tore the skin off this dudes ankle. That dog was fucked up in the head. :-\
