i`ve had my dog for 2 years, he had all the vaccine and neutered, but i`ve never gotten any license for him :-\
and today some LA animal services ppl left a note at my door, saying they will be visiting again on Saturday to inspect the Lic.
my Question is how much would it cost to get a Lic now(after two years :-X) and i know there will be a penalty for not having one after the first 6 month. anyone know how much would it be??? :-\
BTW i am in LA

Do you need to do this in Washington also??? My Husky is coming up on 2 also.

can you just go to a animal shelter and tell them you got this dog from a friend and you want to licence it. Don't know how much it is but here in Wa. its $20 if the dog its nudered.

and if i told them i just got it from my friend then i will have to give him all those shots again($$$$$ :-\)

if the dog isn`t neutered, Lic fee cost a lot more, and u got a dog that`s always horny but couldn`t do ---- to get off :-\

Play dumb. Just say you didn't know until now, but that you'll take care of it from now on.

I dont think my dog is liscensed and he is going on 11 years old.

As long as you have a record of shots they wont make you get anymore. Find a Holistic vet in your area and ask what your options are. Chances are they can help you greatly as there as a lot of people who no longer vaccinate or register their dogs because they believe the shots and constant vet work is actually worse for the dogs health (me being one of these). Find the holistic vet and ask for help...I hope they can give you some legal ways around that.

when they come put a blanket over him and tell him to be really quiet and don't move! Or if he can stand still for a long time just tell them he's actually dead and you had him stuffed by a taxidermist! I just got my two dogs licenced but I live in WI so I'm pretty much useless on info. :P

I've got a bill for a dog license sitting on my desk; it's $4.00 per year in NM. I'm sure it's not much different in your state.

what kind of dog is it? I know that for some dogs in my home town you have to have license's for. Pits, chows, dobermins, dogs of that matter. I know that they can be good dogs, and it depends on the owner, but the history of the pets and the way in which owners use them for is what makes it hard... :-\

a labs/shepard/collies/beagles...you dont have to have a license for at home. :-\

i guess thye know because i have that "becarefull, DOg" sign in the front yard. LOL

here your suppose to have a lic. for everysingal dog you have, don`t matter where you feed it.
