Re: DOES this looked sleeved?????
Well I bought it and then started thinking. SO i looked into it a little more. So i am a little new and learned my lesson. But. His mistake was selling it to me at his house. I am going to call tomorrow and see if he will give my money back but I highly doubt it. So I am most likely going to have to go some other route. Oh well. I sent golden eagle a PM on honda-tech and the guy who runs the profile said that they are not his (duh) but they are iron press ins. So it is somewhat sleeved but it sure the hell aint what I thought it was. So at least it is sleeved but I am not running it.

Notice how thick the iron liner is vs stock? Notice how the approaching-paper-thin aluminum outer sleeve material is chipped in a place or two (has a very tiny paper thin gap up top as well) from where the OEM sleeve has to be machined out of the block?
I think old boy at GE felt bad for you when he said you had sleeves. It's a stock freaking block to my eye, and I've seen more than one B-series block in the last decade of my Honduh ownership.

I think thats kinda his problem now for not being smart. He only had like 10 ------- pics of it. What if the guy who he bought it from paid to have it sleeved and didnt know what the ---- he was looking for. Trust me there are some stupid asses out there.

Re: DOES this looked sleeved?????
well if you look carefully at the pcis you will see the aluminum liner around the "sleeves" it is really thick. i compared it to a stock GSR block that I have laying around and there is a big difference. The aluminum in the stock block almost touches inbetween cylnders. The "sleeved" one there is a gap. that is what I was looking at. I think that is what the guy from GE was talking about. Here was his PM to me.
Golden Eagle (4:24 PM 4/3/2007): its not sleeved by us it has liners in it i would not trust it and i would report him for scaming y ou we never sleeved blocks with liners always full sleeves
homicydalboy (45 PM 4/3/2007): who does those type of liners
Golden Eagle (8:12 AM 4/4/2007): jg and if thats the case i would send it out to be sleeved there liners always fail
