Does anyone work at USP?
 

I need to get a tracking number for a package being sent to my house so I can stop the delivery. UPS phone support said I had to have a tracking number.

Someone can hook me up I hope.

why dont you contact whoever sent it? I doubt anyone is going to be able to find it without the tracking number, or is going to be able to find out the tracking number based off of anything else

j/k, I'm assuming it's something valuable though. You can leave a note on your door telling the UPS guy not to leave it if you're not home. You can then call after he leaves a door tag and schedule pickup at their distro center later that night. I do it all the time because unlike some people I have a job and school so I'm not home during the day :S
