Does anyone make a taper style ring compressor for a D-series stock bore? I havn't been able to find one and I hate using normal style ring compressors.

I have a set like that, BUt back in the day when I helped people build domestics they had billet aluminum ring compressors that tapered from a little over down to stock bore, so you set them on top of the block and just set the piston/rod in. no clamping no anything, it just slide-slide-slippity-slides right in.

those ring comressors are badass. Did you ever see the "who can build a motor the fastest" contest on speedvision? They use those and it makes installing pistons take about 2 seconds
