does a 92-95 hatch exhaust fit a del sol?
 

im trying to find a new exhaust for my car, but i would like to get one that i dont have to modify much. Is the del sol's exhaust the same as a hatch? I know the 2dr and 4dr use a longer mid pipe but the same rear section. Is the mid pipe on the del sol even shorter than the hatch?

del Sols are 3" shorter overall than Hatches, so I would be willing to bet the middle section would need to be shortened. I did a search on HT and that seems to be true.

i cant find a 3" exhaust for a del sol.. For what it would cost for me to make it, id rather buy one and not spend hours ftting pipes and tig welding it together. For once, id rather just buy somethng :-X

All you need to do it cut 6" out of the middle section I think.

and 96+ hatch exhaust is different than 92-95 right?

anyone know how much longer the coupe exhaust is over the hatch? Theres a really cheap 3" ebay exhaust for coupes and 4drs, im assuming i can make that work

Edit: I don't know, the 2dr/4dr is a foot longer than a hatch, so 6" maybe?

you would be alot better starting with exhaust for a hatch, The 4dr and coupe rear section is different.

The muffler is completely different because I put one from a 95 coupe on my del sol and they have the same muffler as the hatch. It is much taller and the hangers need to be changed. The tail section coming out of the muffler needs to be cut down as well, its too long
