I guess walmart is alright at best. I just can't stand going in there and getting blocked in every aisle by some fat ass trailer broad. Besides, seems like you need to speak spanish now to get anywhere in there.

I hate Wal-Mart, it's so generic and cheap(low quality). Plus all the soccer moms, trailer trash, and other undesireable type of people just love it (around here anyway).

Even just hanging out in the parking lot with other car people can be scary since we all know how soccer mom's think they own the ------- road. Nothing pisses me off more than a soccer mom driving like a derranged bitch in thick traffic. Plus I've got road rage.

Anyway Wal-Mart is the root of all evil, closing down all the mom and pop stores that are self employed and what not. ---- like this is what I think is causing our country to go downhill, but thats just my opinion.

haha. you win the award for most ignorant post of the day.

wal-mart & sam's club create so many jobs its unbelievable. plus the billions and billions of buisness they do everyyear. importing and exporting goods, so much tax revenue.

plus, with goods bein cheap there that would be much more expensive at a smaller store. it raises the quality of life of people who are poor/middle class

I defintely prefer Target.

Wal mart always seems to find people with southern accents and missing teeth. Not a problem in Arkansas, but I live in Minnesota. Where do they find these people?

Ahaha this thread is funny. I'd have to say Target would be my prefference. Wal-mart gives me the willies for many of the same reasons posted above.

well theres a flip veiw on everything you just said. the jobs that walmart created still would have been there in the local mom and pop shops. the excess revinue from these shops would go to the owners who live localy.. not the billionaire waltons to make them richer so they can continue to pay all of there employees minimum wage and kill all the local trade work and factorys by importing things from large manufactures overseas. Also these people who lived localy would take there profit and spend it at other local businesses creating a more centralized economy. Giving more opertunity to the avrage american person to start up there own business. and walmart doesnt nessicairly make it cheeper for a middle class person to live. because since stores like walmart have been peddling the same crap and keep trying to look for cheeper manufactures the quality of craftsmanship on all products has gone way down hill. just on dumb ----. For example. my great grandmother has had the same hair dryer since the late 60's where as my mom has to go buy a new one every year. and just about everything you buy from walmart is a peice of ---- and breaks in a few months. Usualy i can find a local store around here who offers the same prices as walmart at a better quality in a friendlyer atmosphere who accualy know about the product. Around here the richer towns dont allow places like walmart to come in. In centerville ohio, a few towns over for mine. they still have a thriving down town they have all these nice stores and shops that are localy owned and operated. there town is nice. but here a walmart came in about 10 years ago and has tottaly destroyed the local economy. no one goes down town anymore the values of all the surrounding homes have droped since theres no real reason to live there. oh well, its just my opinion
